What is the Data Import module?
The Data Import module enables custom integrations with third-party systems to automatically bring external data into Menutech. This includes tailored solutions for structured imports such as:
- OrgaCard XML data feeds
- Custom PDF-to-Excel file parsing pipelines
- Other bespoke formats that require processing before import
Unlike the standard Excel upload (which is available to all users for menu creation), this module is designed for complex, recurring imports that need advanced data handling and automation.

- Organisations with existing food service or ERP systems that want to push data into Menutech without manual steps
- Clients managing large volumes of external files, such as structured PDFs or XMLs, that require parsing and formatting before use

How can I get started?
To use this module, you’ll need to activate the Advanced module: Data Import on your Menutech account.
Next, contact our team to organise a technical onboarding session. We'll work with you to define the integration scope and set up the parsing or import logic required for your use case.
To help us prepare, please send:
- A few sample files representing the data you want to import (e.g. XML, PDF, CSV)
- A short description of your expected output on Menutech
