What is Menu Automation on Menutech?

Menu Automation refers to the automatic creation of personalised submenus from a single main menu. This feature is designed to save time and reduce errors when managing multiple food service plans or dietary configurations.

How does it work?

The system uses:

  • Inheritance rules to carry over elements from the main menu
  • Injection rules to add specific dishes or information per client or category

With Menu Automation, you build your main menu once—and the system does the rest. Submenus are generated in seconds, ready to print, share, or analyze.

To use Menu Automation, you'll need to activate the Advanced module: Menu Automation on your Menutech account.

If you want to speed things up ahead of the call, please make sure:

  1. Your main menu is already created in your Menutech account (or you have it ready for import)
  2. You send us a sample of the main menu and a few expected submenu variations ("before and after") via email when requesting the call.
