How Automated Orders Work

Menutech helps streamline your food ordering process through automated orders

Here's how the system operates based on different settings.

Automated Orders Enabled

Option 1: The “Automated Order Default Orders” Setting is Active

The system will create automated orders for this menu.

It prioritizes repeated orders. If a section has no repeated orders, it will use the default orders.

Option 2: The “Automated Order Default Orders” Setting is Inactive

The system will create automated orders using only repeated orders.

Default orders will be ignored.

Automated Orders Disabled, but...

If automated orders are disabled for a menu, no orders will be created automatically.

However, other settings can still save you time during the ordering process:

  • Saved Repeated Orders for a Consumer: Repeated orders will be pre-selected when you open the select orders screen.
  • Pre-selected Default Products: When you click "Apply Default Orders," the system will first return repeated orders if they exist for the consumer; otherwise, it will use the default orders.

By understanding these settings, you can effectively manage your automated food orders and ensure your menus are always up-to-date with minimal manual intervention.
