I received a strange email from Menutech (phishing attack). How do I report it?

⚠️ If you receive a suspicious looking email, do not click any links or download any attachments.

Please report it by forwarding it to [email protected] and then delete the email. Do not modify the mail headers, attachments and content when forwarding the fraudulent email.

🐟 What is Phishing?

Phishing is the fraudulent practice of sending emails claiming to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information (passwords, credit card numbers, ...).
Although the email appears real with the company's logo, design and branding, it can contain links to fake websites or include attachments that can install malware on your device.

🐟 How can I spot a phishing email?

  • Official Menutech communication is always sent from @menutech.com or @news.menutech.com
  • We NEVER use @gmail, @yahoo or other free email services to send emails
  • The fraudulent email uses a sense of urgency, asks to confirm personal information (such as login credentials or banking details), or asks you to download an attachment
